4 killed in Granada Hills shooting

Four people were found shot to death in an apparent murder-suicide in Granada Hills Saturday night. A man in his 80s is believed to be the shooting suspect, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Officers responded to reports of a shooting at a home in the 11600 block of Lerdo Avenue at around 6:50 p.m.

Arriving officers knocked at the front door but no one answered. Police forced their way inside where four people were found dead at the scene. There was one witness inside the home who directed police to the victims’ bodies.
