Dhanraj is a mild-mannered man who is married to a wealthy, petty-minded, controlling wife. Dhanraj has two sons and a daughter. The elder son Ram is married to Seeta. The younger son, Amar is in love with Asha and the daughter Uma, is married to Lallu Ram. Uma prefers to live with her mother instead of her in-laws.
