Raw Deal (1948) – Movie Review

Raw Deal was an incredible black and white crime film from 1948 that once again paired director Anthony Mann with expert cinematographer John Alton, in a man on the run story starring Dennis O’Keefe, Claire Trevor, Marsha Hunt and Raymond Burr. It was an excellent crime film with plenty of suspense and action. I’ll give a summary of the film, spoiler free, then offer some analysis and closing thoughts.
